I'm from 1983 as well, and I think of myself as an "elder millenial." I also like the term "Oregon Trail generation."

Apparently the term is "Xennial", which is anyone born between '77 and '84.....

Agreed with Kieran and Darcy. I'm a "Xennial," as well. We are a narrow subgroup consisting of a combination of younger Xers and older Millennials.
There is always a "cusp generation" existing in-between any two broader generations.
